Language Studio Automated Quality Measurement tools use the file name to include information about the file such as how and when the file was processed. This can also include which custom engine it was translated with or which third part translation provider performed the translation.

If you are creating files with Language Studio then they will be named automatically with the correct naming convention. However you may wish to upload older files or files that were processed externally. If the files are named with the naming convention below, then the output from the analysis reports will contain more information as it is able to determine some detail from the name of the file.

Custom Engine Translation File:
[filename]-LS-DC[domaincode].V[versionno]-DATE[yyyyMMddHHmm].txt

MyTestFile-LS-DC0012345.V1-DATE201510201024.txt

Third Party Translation File:
[filename]-[provider]-DATE[yyyyMMddHHmm].txt
